To boost morale during WWII, an exhibition football game known as the Tea Bowl was held in London (England) between Canadian and American soldiers on February 13, 1944. The event drew over 32,000 spectators and the Canadian "Mustangs" as they were known defeated the Americans 16-6. A throwback version of the jersey will be worn by team Canada in 2024 to celebrate the game's 80th anniversary.
